These chubby plants are native to the extreme southwestern part of Australia (near the town of Albany) where it lives on the margins of freshwater wetlands, ditches, and slow streams

Due to the ability to micro-propagate Cephalotus, cultivated plants are becoming ever more popular among extreme carnivorous plant collectors due to their splendor mystique
